These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site and our lighting consultation, design, installation, warranty, messaging, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
Who We Are

What We Do (and Do Not Do)
We design and install premium outdoor lighting systems for high-end residential properties. We provide professional design concepts, installation, and follow-up care.
We do not provide security system installation, alarm/monitoring services, or general home renovation. Results depend on your property, preferences, and budget. We do not guarantee specific aesthetic outcomes, property value increase, or future security outcomes.
Consultations and Site Visits
When you book a lighting design consultation, you agree that:
Our team (or representative) may visit your property to review lighting opportunities.
You have authority to allow access to the property.
Photos/video of the property may be taken for design and install planning.
Accounts / Scheduling Tools
If we provide you access to an online scheduling tool, portal, or client dashboard, you’re responsible for keeping that access secure and for any activity that happens under your name.
Fees, Billing, and Refunds
Pricing, payment schedules, financing options, and warranty terms will be shown in your proposal, work order, or invoice.
Refunds / Cancellations: All sales are final once materials are ordered.
Late / Failed Payments: We may pause work or withhold installation/warranty service if invoices are overdue.
Installation and Warranty
We follow our internal quality process (including the Epic 6-Star Checklist and the Knight's Oath Guarantee). Warranty and service terms will be explained in your specific proposal. If your agreement includes a workmanship guarantee or fixture warranty, that written agreement controls.
Property Condition and Safety
You agree to provide a reasonably safe job site and disclose any known hazards, restrictions, or HOA requirements. We are not responsible for pre-existing electrical issues, buried/unmarked utilities, or structural defects.
Intellectual Property
All designs, layouts, photos, videos, drawings, names, processes, and marketing content we share (including the Epic 6-Star Checklist, Knight's Oath Guarantee, marketing language, and before/after images) are owned by or licensed to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to view and use these materials for your own project only. You may not copy, resell, or publish our materials without written permission.
Testimonials and Media Use
If you voluntarily provide a testimonial, review, or allow us to take before/after photos or video of your project, you give us permission to use that content (including images/video of your property at night) for marketing, portfolio, and advertising. We will not publicly share your street address.
Acceptable Use (Site / Messaging)
You agree not to misuse our Site, forms, SMS/MMS, or scheduling systems. This includes: sending unlawful content; attempting unauthorized access; scraping data; introducing malware; or using our Services to harass, threaten, or deceive.
Mobile Messaging Terms (A2P)
By opting in, you agree to receive recurring SMS/MMS messages from Mike's Landscape Lighting LLC / LightQuest Outdoor Illumination at the mobile number you provide. Message & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost value, loss of use, or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the total amount you paid us for the specific project or service giving rise to that claim in the 12 months before the event.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of someone else’s rights.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Effective Date" above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Site or Services means you accept any updated Terms.
